On 12 November 2013, we will be holding our 6th annual transatlantic conference on “The New Transatlantic Market: Gamechangers, Opportunities and Risks”

‘Momentum in the global economy is shifting away from emerging markets and back to advanced economies after years in the doldrums’ (FT, September 4, 2013)’

The US and EU represent by far the largest markets for Western companies, accounting for more than half of global GDP and more FDI and trade than any other region. These markets are now growing again, and changing fast – and so are the opportunities (and the risks) they offer.

At our Conference, we will:

  • Explore the megatrends in this market, and 4 key gamechangers: big data; energy innovation and the sustainability imperative; demography and diversity; and the prospective TTIP;
  • Identify the opportunities and risks that these megatrends and gamechangers present;
  • Suggest strategies that will help companies to succeed in this huge, growing and rapidly evolving marketplace.

Click here to view the conference programme.

We hope you will join us on 12 November as we find out what is at stake for business, both today and tomorrow.

What some of our guests have said about our conferences:

  • “We wouldn’t miss BAB’s Conference – it’s always enlightening and inspiring as well as providing great high-level networking opportunities”
    Graham Bell, Regional Sales Director, UK & Ireland, American Airlines
  • “BAB Spring Conferences are out-standing in terms of content, organi-sation and high level participation. I have never failed to be impressed by the calibre of the speakers and have found the whole experience very worthwhile.”
    Christopher Fraser OBE, Strategic Counsel BNY Mellon
  • “BAB’s Conferences are second to none, consistently attracting excel-lent high-level speakers and a lively, engaged audience of senior profes-sionals.”

The economic relationship between the US and the 27 countries of the EU is the biggest in the world, accounting for almost one-third of all global trade and more than 50% of global GDP.

However, various barriers on both sides of the Atlantic are perceived as hindering the emergence of a truly free transatlantic market place.
